8K 60Hz USB-C to DisplayPort Cable

The Vszerda UC-006-D8K is a unidirectional cable that connects a USB4 USB-C source to a DisplayPort display. It transmits video and audio at up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. Gold-plated connectors, tinned copper conductors and a nylon-braided jacket provide durable signal integrity. The slim aluminium shell fits tight ports without blocking adjacent connections.

Ideal for USB4 Hosts Needing DP Input

This cable suits users with USB4-capable laptops or desktops who must drive a monitor, projector or TV that only accepts DisplayPort. It supports mirror and extend modes for productivity or home-theatre use. Buyers whose source device lacks USB4 alt-mode video output cannot use this cable. It also does not work in reverse from a DisplayPort source to a USB-C display.

Unidirectional USB4 to DisplayPort Only

The decisive specification is the one-way USB4 USB-C to DisplayPort female configuration. The cable only carries signals from a USB4 host to a DP sink and will not function for DP-to-USB-C connections. Verify that the host port explicitly supports USB4 video alt mode before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the cable get warm or draw extra power when driving an 8K 60 Hz display all day?

The UC-006-D8K is a passive copper cable with gold-plated connectors and tinned copper conductors; it draws no external power and generates negligible heat during continuous 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz use.

What must my laptop or desktop already have for this cable to work?

The host needs a USB4 USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode; the cable is unidirectional from a USB-C source to a DisplayPort monitor and will not function with a standard USB-C port lacking video output.

Will the UC-006-D8K work with my older 1080p 60 Hz DisplayPort monitor?

Yes, the cable backwards-supports 1080p 60 Hz and 2160p resolutions, so an older DP display will operate at its native refresh rate when connected to a USB4 USB-C source.
