USB-C to DisplayPort 4K 60Hz adapter

This 84 mm adapter connects a USB-C host with DP Alt Mode to a DisplayPort monitor or projector. It suits laptop, tablet and phone users who need a compact link for presentations or extended desktops. The flat cable design keeps the setup tidy on crowded desks. It is not for users whose source device lacks DP Alt Mode or who need a DisplayPort-to-USB-C direction.

4K 60Hz, 1440p 60Hz and 1080p 60Hz support

The adapter handles up to 4K at 60 Hz, with 1440p and 1080p also at 60 Hz, depending on host capability. It works with SST and MST modes for mirrored, extended or primary display layouts. Bandwidth limits appear when the host GPU or USB-C controller cannot drive the chosen resolution at the full refresh rate.

Passive ultra-slim flat cable design

The 84 mm passive cable draws power only from the USB-C port and adds no fan or external supply. Its flat profile resists kinking and stays cool during normal desktop use. There is no active circuitry to generate noise, and the short length minimises voltage drop for stable 4K 60Hz signalling.

Questions about this item

Will this adapter work with a laptop that only has USB 3.2 ports?

Yes, the adapter is compatible with DP alt-mode on USB 3.2 and supports SST and MST modes for mirrored or extended displays.

How can I confirm the adapter is running at 4K 60Hz after I plug it in?

Open your display settings on Windows, macOS, Android or Chrome OS and verify the output shows 4K at 60 Hz.

Does the 84mm cable include a DisplayPort cable or must I buy one separately?

The adapter has a built-in 84mm flat cable ending in a male DisplayPort connector, so no separate DisplayPort cable is required.
