Tool-free horizontal installation

The horizontal enclosure opens for tool-free SSD insertion and uses an aluminum alloy shell for heat dissipation. The fixed 1 cm cable limits placement options near the host port. Only NVMe PCIe M-Key or B+M Key drives in 2242, 2260, or 2280 sizes fit; M.2 PCIe AHCI, mSATA, WiFi cards, and capture cards are not supported.

Check your drive key and host port speed before

Verify the SSD uses an M-Key or B+M Key NVMe PCIe interface; SATA M.2 drives will not work. For 10 Gbps performance the host must provide USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB4; USB 3.0 and 3.1 Gen 1 ports fall back to 5 Gbps. No external power supply is required.
