Extension cable for USB-C devices

This 16.4 ft USB 3.2 Gen 2 extension cable carries 20 Gbps data and up to 240 W power over a male-to-female Type-C link. It suits users who need to place a monitor, external SSD or eGPU farther from the host than a standard cable allows.

Build integration needs

The cable requires a host port with DP Alternate Mode for video and a separate USB 3.2 male-to-male cable to complete the link to the laptop or display. It frees up desk layout by bridging long distances while maintaining full 20 Gbps throughput and 50 V/5 A charging capability.

Thermals noise and power draw

Passive copper construction produces no fan noise and adds negligible heat during normal operation. The cable handles 240 W PD 3.1 and QC 4.0 charging with backward compatibility to PD 3.0/2.0, QC 3.0/2.0 and Samsung adaptive fast charging. Buyers who need active signal boosting beyond 16.4 ft or Thunderbolt-certified performance should consider other solutions.
