The E-Marker chip manages the PD 3.1 handshake so the cable only draws the voltage and current negotiated with the adapter, keeping connector temperatures low during sustained 240 W charging. Gold-plated contacts and the aluminium shells reduce resistance, so the cable remains cool during high-speed data transfers. No active cooling is present and the cable operates silently.
