Extension cable for USB-C devices

The Vszerda USB C Extension Cable adds 3.3 ft of reach to a USB-C port with a male-to-female braided design. It supports USB 3.2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and power delivery up to 100 W at 20 V / 5 A. The cable is intended for users who need extra length for charging, data syncing or 4K video output without moving their host device. It protects the original port from wear caused by frequent plugging and unplugging.

Check host and cable compatibility

Verify that your host device and the USB-C male-to-male cable you will use both support USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 for 10 Gbps transfer and 100 W charging. The extender does not work with active Thunderbolt 3 docking stations, hubs or cables. For 4K video at 3840 x 2160 60 Hz the host and display must each support video input and output over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. An additional USB 3.1 C male-to-male cable is required and is not included.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The passive copper construction has no fan or active cooling, so it produces no audible noise during operation. Power draw is determined by the connected charger and device, with the cable rated for up to 100 W at 20 V / 5 A. Under typical charging and data loads the cable remains at safe temperatures without any thermal throttling. No external power supply is needed for the extender itself.
