Vszerda USB-C to DVI Cable
This 6ft cable connects a USB-C computer or tablet to a DVI monitor or projector. It is built for users who need a direct link without carrying a separate adapter. The connection requires the host device to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over its USB-C port.
Sustained 1080p60 video output
The link delivers up to 1920x1080p at 60Hz for both mirror and extend modes. Thunderbolt 3 hosts are compatible and maintain the signal over the full cable length. DVI does not carry audio, so sound must be routed through a separate path.
Plug-and-play with no driver install
Simply connect the USB-C end to the host and the DVI end to the display. The cable has no charging port, so the host cannot be powered through it. It will not work with devices that only offer MHL Alternate Mode.

Questions about this item
Does the Vszerda USB-C to DVI cable get warm or draw extra power when driving a 1920x1080p@60Hz display all day?
The cable is a passive adapter with no external power input, so it draws only the small amount of current the host port provides for signal conversion and runs at normal operating temperature.
My laptop has a USB-C port — what must that port support for this cable to output video?
The host USB-C port must provide DisplayPort Alternate Mode; Thunderbolt 3 ports also satisfy this requirement.
Will the Vszerda cable work with my older DVI monitor that only does 1920x1080p@60Hz?
Yes, the cable supports up to 1920x1080p@60Hz and is compatible with any DVI (24+1) display running at that resolution and refresh rate.
