High-speed USB-C cable for data and power

This USB-C to USB-C cable supports 20 Gbps data transfer and 100 W charging for laptops, tablets and phones. It carries 4K video at 60 Hz to external displays. The 6.6 ft length suits desk and conference-room setups.

Bandwidth and power limits of USB 3.2 Gen 2

The 20 Gbps ceiling means large file copies and 4K video streams run at the interface maximum. Power delivery tops out at 100 W, so devices needing more than 20 V at 5 A will not charge at full speed. Backward compatibility handles lower-power adapters automatically.

E-marker chip decides full compatibility

An embedded E-marker chip identifies the cable’s 100 W and 20 Gbps capabilities to the host. Without this handshake, some hosts fall back to lower power or slower data rates. Buyers whose devices require the chip for maximum performance should verify host support before purchase.

Is this a Thunderbolt cable or standard USB-C?

It is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable rated for 20 Gbps and 100 W charging; it works with Thunderbolt 3 ports but runs at USB speeds.
