Vszerda USB-C 3.2 cable 1.65 ft 20 Gbps

This 1.65 ft USB-C to USB-C cable uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 signalling to move data at up to 20 Gbps. It carries 100 W Power Delivery for fast charging of laptops and tablets. The 90-degree right-angle connector keeps the cable tidy in tight spaces and reduces strain on ports. It is aimed at owners of recent MacBooks, iPads, Samsung SSDs and Thunderbolt 3 or 4 hosts who need a short, high-speed link.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The cable is passive and contains no active cooling, so it produces no audible noise and adds no measurable heat to the system. Gold-plated contacts and an integrated E-marker chip manage the 100 W PD negotiation without generating excess warmth. Nylon braiding insulates the conductors and resists everyday handling. Power draw is limited to the connected device's negotiated rate.

Behaviour under sustained load

USB-IF certified connectors and a 10 000-cycle bend rating indicate the cable maintains 20 Gbps throughput and 100 W delivery during prolonged transfers or charging sessions. The smart chip auto-adjusts current to protect attached hardware during continuous 20 V / 5 A operation. Video output holds 4K at 60 Hz without drop-outs provided the host supports DP Alt Mode. Backward compatibility with USB 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 ensures stable fall-back speeds.

Questions about this item

How do I orient the 90° right-angle plug when connecting the cable to my device?

Align the USB-C connector so the cable exits toward the device body rather than away from it; forcing the plug upside-down can damage the port.

When should I consider replacing this braided-nylon USB-C cable?

Replace it if the connectors feel loose, the braid frays, or charging and 20 Gbps data speeds become unreliable after roughly 10000 plug cycles or bends.

What limits 4K 60 Hz video output during extended use?

The connected device must support DP Alt Mode over USB-C; without it the cable falls back to data and charging only.
