This cable adds one USB C and one USB 3.0 female port to a dashboard or panel through a single 27mm cut-out. Each port runs on its own independent cable so data transfer or charging on one does not affect the other. The assembly is rated for 5Gbps transfer and 5V1A charging on both interfaces. Supplied with an M26×1.5 aluminium nut and a waterproof dust cap for a sealed fit.

USB 3.0 and USB C Speed Limits

Both ports share the 5Gbps ceiling defined by the USB 3.0 specification, so large file moves will top out at that rate regardless of the host controller. The USB C connector does not negotiate higher USB 3.1 or USB4 speeds because the cable wiring is built to the 3.0 standard. Charging is limited to 5V1A, so phones or tablets will charge slowly and power-hungry devices may not negotiate at all.
