Seven independent USB 3.0 ports

This PCIe expansion card adds seven USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a desktop computer. Each port operates independently through a two-phase power module so one device cannot starve another. The board fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and works with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, XP or Linux; macOS is not supported.

Dual NEC controller with solid capacitors

The card uses NEC 720201 and NEC 720210 controllers backed by seven dedicated solid capacitors. These polymer-dielectric capacitors deliver low ESR for fast charge and discharge cycles while maintaining stable voltage at each port. No external power cable is required because the slot provides enough current for the 5 V / 2 A output on every connector.

5 Gbps bandwidth per port

USB 3.0 theoretical throughput reaches 5 Gbps, roughly ten times the rate of USB 2.0, so large files such as HD video move quickly. The interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, but the card cannot be used with PlayStation 3 or 4 consoles. Bandwidth is shared across the PCIe lane, so simultaneous maximum-speed transfers on all seven ports will saturate the link.
