What this adapter does

The Wadermoon CETS2S95 adds Bluetooth 5.0 audio to devices that lack it. It works as a transmitter sending sound from a TV or PC to wireless headphones, or as a receiver streaming music from a phone to a wired speaker system. An LCD shows the connected device name so you can confirm the right link before playing.

Range and speed limits

Bluetooth 5.0 reaches about 10 metres in open space with a transmission rate of 4 Mbps. Walls, furniture or other wireless gear will shorten the reliable distance. The adapter uses a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack and includes an RCA cable, so it connects to most legacy audio inputs and outputs without extra adapters.

Deciding specification

The built-in LCD is the feature that separates this unit from basic dongles. It lets you see and select the target headphone or speaker by name, preventing accidental pairing when several Bluetooth devices are nearby. If you only need a simple transmitter or receiver without visual confirmation, a screenless model would be smaller and cheaper.

Questions about this item

Which mode should I pick — transmitter or receiver — for my TV versus my home stereo?

Use transmitter mode to send audio from a TV or PC to Bluetooth headphones, and receiver mode to stream music from a phone to a wired speaker or car system.

What does the 4 Mbps transmission rate mean when I am watching video?

The 4 Mbps rate supports Bluetooth 5.0 EDR and A2DP for low-latency stereo streaming, keeping audio in sync with video on most headphones.

How far can I move away with the 10 metre Bluetooth 5.0 range?

In open space the adapter maintains a link up to 10 metres; walls or interference will reduce the practical distance.
