175-piece WAGO 221 assortment

This kit contains 175 genuine WAGO 221 Lever-Nuts made in Germany and UL Listed. It includes 100 units of the 221-412 two-conductor model, 50 units of the 221-413 three-conductor model, and 25 units of the 221-415 five-conductor model. Each connector terminates solid, stranded, or flexible copper wires from 24 to 12 AWG. The transparent housing lets you verify strip length and full wire insertion at a glance.

Space savings in sustained installations

The 221 series reduces junction-box space consumption by 40 percent compared to the 222 series. Lever actuation locks wires without twisting, so connections stay secure under vibration and thermal cycling. Transparent bodies allow ongoing visual inspection without disassembly, which is critical for permanent wiring in automotive, marine, or control-panel environments. The assortment keeps the three most common pole counts on hand for multi-circuit jobs.

Upgrade from twist-on caps and 222 series

Electricians and installers replacing twist-on wire caps gain tool-free, reusable connections that do not fatigue copper strands. The 40 percent smaller footprint fits tighter boxes where 222 series connectors would not. Buyers who need only two-pole connectors or who work exclusively with aluminium conductors will not use the three- and five-pole models in this pack.

Questions about this item

Do the 221 Lever-Nuts generate any heat when they carry current all day?

The connectors themselves are passive and do not produce heat; only the current flowing through the copper wires creates warmth.

What wire types and sizes must I already have to use the 221-412, 221-413 and 221-415 connectors?

They accept solid, stranded and flexible copper wires from 24 to 12 AWG, so you need wire in that range.

Can I mix these 221 Series connectors with older 222 Series parts in the same junction box?

Yes, the 221 Series uses the same 24-12 AWG wire range as the 222 Series, so both can terminate the same conductors.
