Crosshair Sport Shooting Glasses Clear

Walker's Crosshair Sport Shooting Glasses are specifically designed to provide maximum eye protection for sport shooting. High poly-carbonate impact lenses exceed ANSI Z87.1-2010 high impact safety requirements and provide 99 percent ultra violet protection. The clear lenses maintain true colour visibility in bright conditions.

Shooters needing certified impact protection

These glasses suit sport shooters who require ANSI Z87.1-2010 rated eye protection with 99 percent UV blocking. They are not intended for shooters who need tinted lenses for glare reduction in harsh sunlight. Hunters requiring camouflage frames or prescription inserts should consider other options.

ANSI Z87.1-2010 high impact rating

The single specification that decides suitability is the ANSI Z87.1-2010 high impact certification. High poly-carbonate lenses meet this standard while delivering 99 percent UV protection. If your range or competition mandates this specific rating, these glasses comply. Without this requirement, standard safety glasses may suffice.

Questions about this item

Which lens tint should I choose for indoor range use?

The clear lenses transmit full visible light while blocking 99 percent UV, making them suited to indoor or low-light shooting.

What does the ANSI Z87.1-2010 rating mean when I am actually shooting?

It certifies the polycarbonate lenses withstand high-velocity impact, so they protect against ricochets and ejected brass.

Does the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard limit the frames I can use with prescription inserts?

The standard covers lens impact performance; frame compatibility with inserts depends on the specific frame design, not the rating itself.
