Pete's Dragon DVD Movie

This Walt Disney Home Entertainment DVD presents the family adventure film Pete's Dragon in high definition. The story follows a mysterious ten-year-old boy who appears from the woods claiming to live with a giant green dragon. A forest ranger and a young girl work to uncover his origins and the truth behind the magical creature. It is rated PG for general family viewing.

Families Seeking Fantasy Adventure

The disc suits viewers who enjoy live-action blended with CGI fantasy and themes of friendship and belonging. Buyers who want more storage capacity for a digital library or builders who need a second disc for a multi-film collection should look at something else. Collectors requiring extensive bonus features or a Blu-ray resolution upgrade will not find those on this standard DVD edition.

Simple Disc Playback

Installation requires only inserting the disc into any standard DVD player, computer drive, or game console with DVD support. No software installation, driver updates, or network configuration are involved. What usually goes wrong is physical damage such as scratches or fingerprint smudges preventing the laser from reading the data layer correctly. Storing the disc in its case when not in use prevents most read errors.
