Four-player co-op dungeon brawler

Gauntlet returns the classic four-player co-op action in a new experience from Arrowhead Game Studios. Choose one of four distinct heroes and fight through monster-filled dungeons built by hand and by procedure. The game activates on Steam with an online code and requires a broadband connection for multiplayer.

Steam activation and regional limits

The product delivers a Steam code that adds the title to your library instantly. Activation is blocked in a long list of countries including Russia, China and Iran, so buyers in those regions cannot redeem it. A Steam account and internet access are mandatory for installation and online play.

2.4 GHz dual-core processor requirement

Both minimum and recommended specifications call for a 2.4 GHz dual-core CPU, 4 GB of RAM and a DirectX-compatible graphics card with at least 512 MB of video memory. Systems that fall below this baseline will not run the game, while faster hardware only improves visual fidelity.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam DRM for Gauntlet [Online Game Code] require any future client updates or re-activation?

The game uses Steam DRM for activation and installation; the Steam client manages all future updates and licence verification automatically.

Which hardware component hits the 2 GB disk-space ceiling first during long co-op sessions?

The 2 GB install size is fixed on the drive; sustained play does not increase it, so storage capacity is the only limit encountered.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from a GPU meeting the 512 MB GeForce 9800 minimum when running Gauntlet all day?

A GPU at the 512 MB GeForce 9800 level will draw modest power; expect low-to-moderate heat and fan noise during extended sessions.
