Expansion Pass for Shadow of War

The Warner Brothers WB0091 Expansion Pass adds four DLC packs to Middle-earth: Shadow of War on PC. It delivers two Nemesis tribe expansions and two story campaigns that extend the action-adventure experience. The code activates on Steam and requires the base game to play.

Region-locked DLC for Windows 10 PCs

This pass suits players who own Shadow of War on Steam and want the extra tribes and narrative chapters. Buyers in blocked regions such as RU, UA, VE and others listed in the specifications cannot activate the code. It is not for anyone without the base game or a 64-bit Windows 10 system.

Steam activation and 6 GB minimum RAM

The single specification that decides fit is the Steam DRM requirement tied to a 64-bit Windows 10 install with at least 6 GB system memory and 2 GB video memory. Without a Steam account and hardware meeting those minimums the content will not launch.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam DRM require re-activation if I reinstall the Expansion Pass later?

The product uses Steam DRM; once the code is redeemed to your Steam account the expansions stay in your library and can be reinstalled without further activation.

What hardware limit will appear first during long play sessions on a minimum-spec PC?

The minimum spec lists 6 GB system memory and 2 GB video memory, so available RAM and VRAM will constrain performance before the CPU or GPU clock speeds become the bottleneck.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when running the DLC all day on recommended hardware?

Recommended specs call for an AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz or Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz with an RX 480 4 GB or GTX 970 4 GB; sustained loads will push those components to their normal thermal envelopes, so expect typical gaming-grade heat and fan noise for that class of hardware.
