Wasp Barcode DR6 RFID Gun Grip barcode scanner

Wasp Barcode DR6 RFID Gun Grip

The Wasp Barcode DR6 RFID Gun Grip is a barcode scanner that adds RFID reading to a pistol-grip form factor. It targets warehouse, logistics and retail teams who need to capture both standard barcodes and RFID tags with one hand-held device. The unit ships new and is listed under the Wasp Barcode brand.

Check host interface and software compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that your host system supports the scanner’s connection method and that your inventory or point-of-sale application can ingest RFID data alongside barcode input. Verify that any required drivers or configuration utilities are available for your operating system. Ensure the grip ergonomics suit the intended shift length and user preference.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The scanner operates on battery power during mobile use and draws minimal current while scanning or reading RFID tags. No active cooling fan is present, so acoustic output is limited to trigger clicks and optional beeper feedback. Typical session heat remains low enough for continuous hand-held operation across a standard shift.
