Solar power for Wyze Cam Outdoor

This three-pack of Wasserstein solar panels supplies continuous 5 V, 2 W charging to compatible Wyze Cam Outdoor units. Each panel includes a 13.1 ft cable and a 360-degree wall mount for flexible positioning. The cameras themselves are not included.

Capacity and daily headroom

The 2 W output maintains battery level during typical motion-triggered recording schedules when the panel receives several hours of direct sunlight. Extended overcast periods or very high traffic zones may drain the camera faster than the panel can replenish it.

Thermals, noise and power draw

Passive operation means no fan noise and zero standby draw from the panel itself. The weatherproof micro-USB connector seals the camera port against moisture. The panel only begins delivering charge after its internal buffer is full, so initial setup requires a full solar charge first.

Questions about this item

Will the 13.1 ft cable reach my Wyze Cam Outdoor if the solar panel is mounted high on a wall?

The 13.1 ft cable and 360-degree wall mount let you place the panel high and angle it for sun while still reaching the camera's micro-USB port.

How do I know the panel is charging my Wyze Cam Outdoor after I connect it?

Fully charge the panel first; charging only starts once the panel itself is fully charged, so the camera's battery indicator will then show it is receiving power.

Does the 3-pack include the Wyze Cam Outdoor cameras or just the solar panels and mounts?

The pack contains three solar panels, each with a 360-degree wall mount, 13.1 ft cable and weatherproof micro-USB head; the Wyze Cam Outdoor cameras are not included.
