At-home LED whitening light

The Waterpik lm-78 uses 16 blue LED bulbs to accelerate whitening gel or strips while you go about daily activities. It draws power directly from a smartphone or USB port through four included adapters. A food-grade silicone mouth tray fits upper and lower teeth, and a storage case makes the kit portable for home or travel use.

Users wanting faster gel activation

People who prefer a hands-free session powered by their phone will find the tray convenient for reading, watching or light exercise. Buyers who want an integrated gel supply or a built-in battery should look elsewhere, as the kit requires separate whitening gel and a live USB connection to operate.

16-LED blue light array

Sixteen LEDs deliver the high-intensity blue light that acts as a catalyst for peroxide-based gels. The light output is fixed by this array, so the whitening speed depends on the gel strength you choose and the session length you follow.

Will the 16-LED mouth tray fit alongside my existing dental work such as crowns or veneers?

The food-grade silicone tray is flexible and designed to fit your mouth perfectly, accommodating most dental work while the 16 blue LED bulbs target both upper and lower teeth simultaneously.

How can I verify the 16 blue LEDs are active once I plug the lm-78 into my phone?

When connected via the iPhone, Type-C, Micro-USB or USB adapter, the 16 high-intensity blue LED bulbs illuminate visibly inside the tray, confirming the accelerator light is powered and ready for your whitening session.

Does the lm-78 package include whitening gel or must I purchase it separately?

The box contains the 16-LED accelerator light, a flexible food-grade silicone mouth tray, four phone adapters (iPhone, Type-C, Micro-USB, USB) and a storage case; whitening gel or strips are not included and must be bought separately.
