Compatible batteries

The Watson Compact AC/DC Charger accepts Nikon EN-EL3 and EN-EL3e lithium-ion batteries as well as Fujifilm NP-150 type cells. It ships with a dedicated plate for those models and supports additional battery types through optional adapter plates. Photographers using those Nikon or Fujifilm packs can charge them from one unit. Users with other battery formats will need a separate plate.

Power inputs and USB output

The charger operates on 100-240VAC mains power worldwide and includes a fold-out US plug plus a European adapter. A 12VDC car adapter with a cigarette lighter plug is also supplied for mobile charging. A USB power output provides 12V for phones, MP3 players or cameras while the battery plate is in use. Builders needing a different DC voltage cannot use this supply.

Thermals and noise

The compact charger runs silently with no moving parts during normal AC or DC charging. Heat output remains low when topping up a single EN-EL3 or NP-150 cell. Extended simultaneous use of the battery plate and USB port may warm the case slightly. No fan noise or active cooling is present.
