A GPIO expander for Raspberry Pi Pico with 40PIN and 20PIN headers to connect HATs and Pico boards, plus USB power input and a reset button
This board adds a standard 40PIN Raspberry Pi header and a 20PIN Pico header to a single Raspberry Pi Pico. It lets makers attach Raspberry Pi HATs and Pico expansion boards simultaneously. A USB power input supplies extra current for multiple modules. A broken-out RESET button and clear front-side pin labels speed up prototyping.
The 40PIN header accepts full-size Raspberry Pi HATs while the 20PIN header fits Pico-specific add-ons, giving two expansion paths on one base. USB power prevents brown-outs when several modules draw current together. Headroom ends when combined peripheral current exceeds what the USB supply can deliver or when pin functions conflict between stacked boards.
All signals route through the classic 40PIN GPIO layout, so any HAT designed for that pinout connects mechanically and electrically. The expander does not translate voltage levels or add buffering; it passes pins straight through. Builders needing level shifting, isolation or additional protocol controllers must add those circuits themselves.

Yes, the board includes a standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN header so current HATs plug in directly.
Connect USB power, press the breakout RESET button, and the Pico should enumerate on the host as normal.
The box contains only the expander board with the 40PIN and 20PIN headers fitted; a Pico and any male headers are separate purchases.
