Universal USB-C Dock for Dual 4K Displays

This Wavlink 69DK5 docking station adds two 4K monitors at 60 Hz through HDMI or DisplayPort and a single 5K panel at 60 Hz over DisplayPort. It connects to laptops with USB-C or USB-A ports and works on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 and XP as well as Mac OS 10.6 and later. No support exists for Linux, Unix or ARM-based Windows devices.

Driver-First Setup With No Laptop Charging

Installation requires a manual DisplayLink driver download on both Windows and Mac; Mac OS 10.13.4 through 10.13.6 only allow one extended screen and need Screen Recording permission enabled. The dock does not deliver Power Delivery, so the host laptop must use its own charger. A 20 V DC adapter is included for the dock itself.

Dual 4K 60 Hz Video Over USB Bandwidth

The built-in DisplayLink GPU drives two 3840 x 2160 displays at 60 Hz simultaneously via HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, or a single 5120 x 2880 panel at 60 Hz. This capability depends on the host providing sufficient USB 3.0 or 3.1 Gen 1 bandwidth rather than native GPU outputs.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the dock is delivering dual 4K at 60 Hz after connecting my monitors?

Check your display settings on Windows or Mac to confirm each external monitor shows 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz; the dock's integrated GPU handles the video so CPU load stays low.

Which cables and adapters are included, and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the dock, a USB 3.0 Type-C to Type-C cable, a USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-C cable, a 20 V DC power adapter and a user manual; you must provide your own HDMI or DisplayPort cables for the monitors.

Should I choose the DisplayPort or HDMI outputs for a single 5K monitor?

Use one DisplayPort output to reach 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz; HDMI ports are limited to 4K at 60 Hz.
