The Wavlink RapidFire MS2 turns a single M.2 2230 or 2242 NVME or SATA drive into a portable USB 3.2 Gen 2 device. It accepts M-key or B+M-key NVME SSDs and B+M-key SATA SSDs up to 8TB. The aluminum body includes a thermal pad and plate for heat dissipation. No AC adapter is required.

Tool-free installation with short cable

A sliding cover opens without tools so the SSD can be inserted and secured with the supplied silicone plugs. The enclosure uses a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface rated at 10Gbps with UASP support. The included USB-C to USB-C cable is 19.5cm long. A blue LED indicates power and activity.

Verify the drive is M-key or B+M-key NVME or B+M-key SATA; B-key SATA drives are not supported. To reach the 10Gbps ceiling the host must provide a USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port.
