Triple-Display Docking Station

The Wavlink WL-UG69PD25 is a universal docking station built for laptops with a full-featured USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 port. It drives three external monitors while delivering up to 100W of power to the host machine. Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS 11 or later, ChromeOS 100 or later and Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 are supported.

From Single-Screen to Three

Users moving from a basic hub or a single-video dongle gain two additional independent displays without adding internal graphics hardware. The jump is worthwhile when the host supplies a DP 1.4 source, enabling the HDMI Alt Mode port to run at 3840x2160@60Hz alongside two 2560x1600@60Hz streams. With a DP 1.2 source the Alt Mode port drops to 3840x2160@30Hz.

Bandwidth and Port Constraints

Display 1 and Display 2 share a video stream group, so their HDMI and DisplayPort connectors cannot be active simultaneously. The six USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports operate at 10Gbps, while the Gigabit Ethernet port tops out at 1Gbps. The included 130W adapter is required to reach the 100W laptop-charging figure; a lesser supply will reduce available power.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the WL-UG69PD25 and its 130W power adapter need?

The dock includes a 100 cm USB-C to C cable and a DC power adapter cable; allow room for the unit, the 130W brick, and cable routing to a wall outlet.

Which driver must be installed before connecting three monitors to a MacBook M1 or M2?

Install the DisplayLink driver from the supplied Driver Link Card before attaching displays; macOS requires this software to enable triple extended desktops.

When should the 130W power adapter be replaced to keep 100W laptop charging?

Replace the adapter if the DC 20V/6.5A output becomes unstable or the unit no longer delivers 100W to the host USB-C port.
