Genuine Weber Summit Gas Line

This genuine Weber appliance part is a 64-inch infrared gas line designed for Summit 600 series barbecues. It replaces the original fuel conduit on compatible built-in and freestanding models. The component is supplied new and sold individually under part number 70398.

Fits 144 Summit model variants

The line fits 144 listed Summit models including the S-640, S-650, S-660 and S-670 across LP and natural-gas versions from 2007 to 2009. It is not suitable for other Weber ranges such as Genesis or Spirit, nor for non-Weber grills that use different manifold dimensions.

64-inch length for standard Summit spacing

The 64-inch length spans the typical distance between the control manifold and the infrared burner on supported Summit 600, 650, 660 and 670 configurations. Installations requiring a longer or shorter run, or a different connector thread, will need an alternative part.

Questions about this item

Does the 64-inch gas line connect directly to my Summit 600 BB grill, or do I need an additional regulator or fitting?

The 64-inch gas line is designed as a direct replacement for the Summit 600 BB; it threads into the existing manifold connection so no extra regulator or fitting is required.

Will this gas line fit an older Summit S-640 NG built-in model from 2007?

Yes, the part fits 144 listed Summit models including the S-640 NG built-in from 2007, so it will connect to that grill without modification.

How can I confirm the new gas line is sealed and flowing correctly after installation?

With the gas supply on, brush soapy water over every joint; bubbles indicate a leak, while steady ignition and even burner flames show the line is working as intended.
