Heavy-duty surface cleaning tool

This knot cup brush is built for fast cleaning of large surfaces. The steel construction handles demanding brushing tasks. It spins at 13,000 rpm with a 3 1/2" wheel diameter.

Best for aggressive material removal

Ideal for professionals stripping paint, rust or weld scale quickly. Not suited for delicate finishing work or users needing a softer brushing action. Shoppers requiring a different diameter or wire type should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 13,000 rpm steel cup brush overload a standard 5/8-11 angle grinder I already own?

The brush is rated for 13,000 rpm and mounts on a 5/8-11 spindle, matching the speed and thread of most common angle grinders so it runs within the tool's design limits.

How can I confirm the knot cup brush is seated and running true after I install it?

Spin the grinder briefly at no load; the 3 1/2" steel cup should run without visible wobble, excessive vibration or unusual noise, indicating the 5/8-11 arbor is properly tightened.
