Questions about this item
What does the 5/8" arbor hole limit in terms of mounting compatibility?
The 5/8" arbor hole fits only tools with a matching spindle diameter such as many bench grinders and some angle grinders.
What clearance does the 4" diameter and 1/4" face width need inside a guard?
The 4" diameter and 1/4" face width require a guard opening wide enough for the full brush circle and side clearance so the twisted knots do not strike the housing.
How is the wheel secured on a 5/8" spindle and what step is often missed?
Slide the wheel onto the spindle, add the supplied flange washers if required, then tighten the spindle nut firmly; the step often missed is confirming the wheel sits flush against the inner flange before final torque.
