2-Inch Stainless Steel Crimped Wire Wheel
This 2-inch diameter wheel uses .0118 stainless steel crimped wire for light-duty brushing tasks. It mounts on a stem for use with high-speed rotary tools. The narrow face concentrates the brushing action on a small area. Maximum operating speed is 20,000 rpm.
Suited for light surface cleaning and deburring
Ideal for detail work on stainless steel or non-ferrous metals where contamination must be avoided. Not suited for heavy material removal or aggressive cleaning that requires knotted wire. Buyers needing a wider face or larger diameter should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item
What size shaft or collet do I need to fit the 804-17611 wheel?
The wheel has a standard stem that fits a 1/4 inch collet or chuck on a die grinder or rotary tool.
Can I run this 20000 rpm wheel on a slower drill without damage?
Yes, running below the 20000 rpm maximum is safe; the crimped stainless wire will simply brush less aggressively at lower speeds.
