This Weiler flap disc uses zirconia alumina abrasive in a 36 grit extra coarse grade for fast stock removal on metal surfaces. The Type 29 angled design increases contact area for efficient grinding and blending. It is built for operators who need a durable disc that resists loading during heavy use. Maximum speed is rated at 13,000 RPM for high-performance angle grinders.

Mounting And Speed Limits Apply

The disc fits a 7/8 inch mounting hole on compatible angle grinders and must not exceed the 13,000 RPM maximum rating. Type 29 geometry works best at an angle to the workpiece rather than flat. California Proposition 65 warns that this product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer. Always verify grinder speed and flange condition before mounting.

Replaces Worn Resin Fibre Discs

This flap disc replaces traditional resin fibre discs when longer life and consistent finish are required. The zirconia alumina grain stays sharp longer than aluminium oxide alternatives on ferrous metals. The jump is worth it for high-volume weld grinding, edge beveling or rust removal where frequent disc changes slow the job. It is not suited for fine finishing or polishing tasks.
