Carpet Seam Binders

Weiler supplies a knot wire end brush built for carpet seam binders. The 3-1/2 inch diameter tool fits professional flooring installers who need aggressive cleaning or surface preparation on binding material. It ships new and ready for workshop use.

3-1/2 inch diameter

The brush measures 3-1/2 inches across, which is the single dimension that determines fit on compatible equipment. Buyers who need a smaller or larger diameter must select a different model because this size is fixed.

Hand-held operation

Normal use relies on manual pressure rather than powered rotation, so heat build-up and noise stay low. Power draw is not applicable for this non-electric tool, and the wire knots maintain cutting action without thermal overload.

Questions about this item

What does the 3-1/2In diameter mean when the brush is running on a grinder?

The 3-1/2In diameter gives a wide cleaning path so each pass covers more seam area, reducing the number of passes needed to finish a carpet joint.

How does the 5/8-11 thread affect which tools can drive this brush?

The 5/8-11 thread fits standard angle grinders with matching spindles, so the brush mounts directly without adapters.

What clearance does the 113In overall length need inside a tool guard?

The 113In overall length requires a grinder guard that can accommodate that depth; check the guard opening before mounting.
