General-Duty Knot Wire Cup Brush

This general-duty knot wire cup brush is built for heavy-duty brushing tasks on relatively flat surfaces. It provides aggressive cleaning action while retaining some flexibility for demanding applications. The tool is sold as a single unit for professional use.

5/8-11 Thread Mounting Constraint

The brush uses a 5/8-11 threaded arbor for attachment to compatible angle grinders or power tools. This specific thread pattern limits use to equipment with matching spindle specifications. Users must verify their tool accepts this exact mounting configuration before purchase.

.020 Wire Gauge Determines Aggressiveness

The .020 inch wire thickness is the single specification that defines the brushing intensity and material removal rate. This gauge suits heavy cleaning but may damage delicate substrates or fine finishes. Buyers needing gentler surface preparation should select a finer wire gauge.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the .020 wire or a thicker gauge for my cleaning job?

The .020 wire diameter gives a balance of aggressive cleaning and some flexibility, suited for large flat surfaces where heavy-duty action is needed.

How does the 3/4" cup diameter perform on a real angle grinder?

The 3/4" cup covers a wide area per pass, letting you clean large surfaces quickly while the knot wire construction withstands demanding use.

Will the 5/8-112 thread fit my standard grinder spindle?

The 5/8-112 thread matches common angle-grinder spindles, so the brush mounts directly without adapters and runs at the tool's rated speed.
