Scale model for collectors and display

This 1/24 scale diecast reproduces the 1948 Chevrolet Woody Fleetmaster in dark brown. It is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts and arrives in a brand new box. The model suits collectors who appreciate vintage American station wagons and hobbyists building period dioramas. It is not for buyers who want a toy for rough play or a remote-controlled vehicle.

Opening features and fixed stance

The hood and both doors open to reveal a detailed interior and engine bay. Real rubber tyres are fitted, but the model has no steering mechanism or suspension movement. All parts are fixed in place for static display rather than interactive handling. It is not for anyone expecting moving wheels or a chassis that rolls freely.

Diecast construction with mixed materials

The body uses diecast metal for weight and rigidity while smaller trim pieces are plastic. Dimensions are approximately 7.75 inches long, 2.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. The mixed-material build keeps fine details crisp but means some parts feel lighter than the main shell. It is not for buyers who require an all-metal model with no plastic components.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the diecast body absorb if the model sits under a display lamp all day?

The diecast metal with plastic parts will warm slightly under a lamp but contains no electronics, so it generates no heat of its own.

What extra items are needed to display the 1/24 scale model with opening hood and doors?

No batteries, tools or assembly are required; the model arrives fully assembled in its box ready for shelf display.

Will the 7.75-inch length fit alongside older 1/24 scale vehicles on the same shelf?

At 1/24 scale it matches other 1/24 models, so the 7.75-inch length aligns with same-scale cars already in a collection.
