1/24 Scale 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible

This officially licensed diecast model replicates the 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible in 1/24 scale. It features a detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment with opening hood and doors. Real rubber tyres and diecast construction with some plastic parts complete the authentic presentation for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts.

Sustained Display Durability

The diecast metal body resists warping and fading during long-term shelf display better than all-plastic alternatives. Opening panels operate on simple hinges without spring tension that could weaken over time. Rubber tyres maintain their shape and do not develop flat spots when the model remains stationary for extended periods.

1/24 Scale Collectible Constraints

At 1/24 scale the model measures approximately eight inches long, three inches wide and 2.25 inches high, limiting the level of fine detail that can be moulded into small components. The fixed ride height and non-steering front wheels prevent dynamic posing or diorama integration that requires adjustable suspension. Plastic trim pieces may be more brittle than the diecast shell if handled frequently.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the diecast model produce when displayed all day?

The model is a static 1/24 scale collectible with no moving parts, electronics or power source, so it generates no heat and makes no noise.

What additional items are required for the 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS model to function as intended?

No extra items are needed; the model arrives fully assembled in its original unopened box and is ready for display straight away.

Will the 2.25-inch tall model fit alongside older 1/24 scale diecast cars in the same display case?

Yes, it shares the standard 1/24 scale, so its length, width and height match other 1/24 models and it will sit uniformly with them.
