12L touch-free kitchen bin

The Wenger 12L Smart Sensor Trash Can uses a microcomputer chip to open its lid in about 0.3 seconds after detecting a hand wave, knee bend or foot kick. A PU leather handle rotates front to back so the bin can be moved easily. Hidden bag storage keeps refills organised inside the unit.

Quiet soft-close with adjustable range

The lid rises and falls with a slow, low-noise motion designed for a peaceful home. Sensing distance can be set between 15 and 30 cm to suit the available space. An anti-pinch function re-opens the lid automatically if an obstruction is detected during closing.

12 litre capacity for daily waste

This plastic bin holds 12 litres of rubbish, making it suitable for typical kitchen or office use. One-touch stay-open mode keeps the lid raised during longer clean-up tasks. Power comes from batteries that the chip manages for extended life.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the sensor range and what is the common mistake?

Set the sensing distance between 15 and 30 cm using the adjustment control; the step people miss is testing the new range with a hand wave before relying on foot-kick or knee-bend activation.

What will need replacement or maintenance over time?

The batteries powering the microcomputer chip and motor will eventually need changing; the hidden bag compartment holds spare liners for quick swaps, and the plastic body and PU leather handle can be wiped clean.

What limit appears first during continuous heavy use?

The lid stays open for about 5 seconds per cycle and then soft-closes, so rapid non-stop disposal will hit that automatic close timer before the battery or motor shows strain.
