Build integration and daily use

The case clips on and off without tools while leaving all ports, charger, cable and headset connections accessible. Ventilation channels follow the original airflow pattern and rubberised feet keep the laptop stable on a desk. The bundled keyboard skin guards against spills and contaminants without adding noticeable bulk.

Who this suits and who it does not

Owners of the specified A1278 MacBook Pro seeking a single-piece shell and keyboard protector in one package will find a direct fit. Buyers with newer Retina models, MacBook Air units or any laptop lacking the A1278 identifier cannot use this case. Those wanting a folio, sleeve or carry bag should look at a different product type.

Questions about this item

Does the case block the MacBook Pro A1278 vents during long sessions?

Air-follow ventilation areas let heat escape while the case stays snapped on, so sustained use does not trap hot air.

Will the hard shell and keyboard cover make the laptop noisier or hotter after hours of work?

The case adds no fans or moving parts, and the keyboard cover is ultra-thin, so neither component changes acoustics or thermals.

Which MacBook Pro must I already own for this Rainbow Red kit to fit?

Only the 13-inch MacBook Pro model A1278 with CD-ROM from the 2008 to 2012 releases matches the snap-on design.
