Compatible MacBook models

This hard-shell case fits the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, models A1502 and A1425 released between 2012 and 2015. It snaps onto the chassis without blocking any ports, so the laptop opens fully and all connectors remain accessible. The Apple logo shines through the solid plastic surface. A silicone keyboard cover is included in the box.

Protection and heat management

The rigid shell guards against shocks, scratches and dust during daily transport. Ventilation slots on the underside allow air to circulate so the system can expel heat while the case stays on. Rubberised feet keep the laptop stable on smooth desks. The keyboard cover adds a barrier against liquid spills and debris.

Limits of the snap-on design

The case only fits the specific model numbers listed; newer or older 13-inch MacBooks will not align with the port cut-outs or the snap points. It adds a thin layer of plastic around the entire body, so sleeves or bags sized for a bare laptop may feel tight. The keyboard cover is model-specific and cannot be used on other layouts.
