Kindle Paperwhite 12th-Gen & Colorsoft Cover

This pink synthetic-leather sleeve is built exclusively for the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation, Paperwhite Signature Edition 12th Generation and Colorsoft Signature Edition 1st Generation. It fits model numbers SA569B and SA569P only and will not suit earlier Paperwhite or basic Kindle models. The soft interior lining guards the screen and body against scratches and daily knocks. Precise cut-outs keep every port and button accessible without removing the case.

Magnetic Wake-Sleep & Wireless Charging Support

A built-in magnetic strip triggers automatic wake when the lid opens and sleep when it closes, so the reader resumes instantly. The cover also supports wireless charging on devices that include that function, letting you top up the battery without detaching the protector. No extra cables or adapters are bundled; the feature simply works with the Kindle's own charging coil. Installation takes seconds and requires no tools.

Protection Scope & Limits

The case handles everyday transport in a bag, backpack or hand, shielding the e-reader from bumps, dust and surface abrasion. It is not waterproof, shock-rated or designed for heavy impact, so drops onto hard floors remain a risk. The slim profile adds minimal bulk but cannot accommodate a screen protector thicker than the factory film. Buyers needing ruggedised drop protection or a stand function should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the synthetic leather exterior need any conditioning over time?

The case uses high-quality synthetic leather that does not require leather conditioner; wipe it with a damp cloth if it gets dirty.

Will the magnetic auto wake/sleep feature still work after daily opening and closing?

The magnetic mechanism is built into the cover and designed for repeated use, so auto wake/sleep continues to function with normal daily handling.

Does the case trap heat while the Kindle charges wirelessly inside it?

The precise cut-outs and slim fit allow normal airflow, and the soft interior lining does not insulate the device during wireless charging.
