Compatibility confirmed for Tab Active 2 8.0

This rugged case fits only the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 8.0 inch 2017 models SM-T390, SM-T395 and SM-T397. It is built from hard plastic and shock-absorbing silicone in a three-layer structure. Precise cutouts keep every port, button, camera and speaker accessible without removing the cover. The design targets field workers and families who need drop protection for this specific tablet.

Sustained outdoor use with rotating kickstand

The built-in 360 degree rotating kickstand and adjustable hand grip stay secure during long shifts on site. The three-layer construction absorbs repeated impacts without cracking or loosening over time. The silicone layer retains its grip and cushioning through daily handling. The nylon shoulder strap attaches to any two holes and adjusts for vertical or horizontal carry during extended outdoor work.

Carry limits defined by strap attachment points

The shoulder strap can only be fastened to the moulded holes on the case, so carrying orientation is restricted to those anchor positions. The kickstand rotates through 360 degrees but locks only at the angles the mechanism provides. No additional mounting hardware or quick-release system is included. Buyers who need a second strap, a chest harness or a vehicle dock will not find those options supported by this case.

Questions about this item

Does the case trap heat when the tablet runs all day?

The three-layer construction uses hard plastic and soft shock-absorbing silicone with precise cut-outs for every port, button, camera and speaker, so airflow is not blocked during extended use.

What must I already own for this case to work?

You need a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 8.0 inch 2017 model SM-T390, SM-T395 or SM-T397; the case does not fit any other tablet.

Will the 360-degree rotating kickstand and hand strap still function if I keep an older charger or keyboard?

Yes, all ports and buttons remain accessible without removing the case, so legacy chargers, keyboards or other accessories plug in normally while the kickstand and strap rotate freely.
