Designed for Fire 7 12th Gen 2022

This lightweight cover case fits the 12th Generation Amazon Fire 7 tablet released in 2022. It clips on as a single piece that does not separate into front and back halves. A universal stylus is included in the package. The red PU leather exterior and microfiber interior provide scratch-free protection.

Magnetic sleep/wake and stand modes

A built-in magnetic strip puts the tablet to sleep when the cover is closed and wakes it when opened. The tri-fold front cover flips back to form a stable viewing stand and a keyboard stand for hands-free use. The slim hardback shell adds durability without bulk during sustained daily handling.

Upgrades from basic sleeves or no case

Owners moving up from a simple sleeve gain automatic sleep/wake, a built-in stand and included stylus in one package. The jump is worth it when you want drop protection, hands-free viewing angles and instant wake without carrying separate accessories. Not for users needing a detachable keyboard or a case that fits other tablet models.

Questions about this item

Does the magnetic sleep/wake strip keep working after the case has been folded into a stand all day?

The built-in magnetic strip automatically wakes or puts the Fire 7 12th Gen to sleep each time the cover is opened or closed, even after repeated folding into viewing or keyboard stand positions.

What device must I already own for this cover to fit and function?

The case fits only the All-New Amazon Fire 7 inch Tablet 12th Generation 2022 release; it will not fit any other Kindle or Fire model.

Will the universal stylus work on the Fire 7 screen if I keep using my older 2020 Fire HD 8?

The included universal stylus works on touch-screen tablets, but this cover is designed exclusively for the 2022 Fire 7 12th Gen and does not fit the 2020 Fire HD 8.
