Designed for Fire 7 12th Gen 2022

This cover case fits the 2022 release of the Fire 7 tablet only. It ships with a universal stylus for touch-screen input. The one-piece design clips on without separating front and back panels. A magnetic strip triggers automatic wake and sleep when the cover is opened or closed.

Stand positions and protection

The tri-fold cover flips back to create a viewing stand and a keyboard stand for hands-free use. A slim hardback shell uses PU leather on the outside and a soft microfiber lining inside to guard against scratches. The lightweight build adds minimal bulk while covering the device on all sides.

Upgrade from basic sleeves

Replaces simple slip covers that lack stand angles and wake-sleep automation. The jump is worth it when you need hands-free viewing angles and instant screen control without pressing buttons. Buyers who need a case for Fire HD 8 models or other Kindle devices cannot use this cover.

Questions about this item

Will this case fit the 10th-generation Fire 7 I already own?

No — the cover is made only for the 12th-generation Fire 7 released in 2022 and will not fit the 10th-generation model from 2020.

How can I check the auto wake/sleep is working after I clip the case on?

Close the cover and the Fire 7 should go to sleep; open it and the tablet should wake automatically thanks to the built-in magnetic strip.

Does the package include a screen protector or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains the gray folio case and a universal stylus pen; a screen protector is not included and must be purchased separately.
