PS5 Slim Digital Edition faceplates with RGB strip

These replacement panels fit the 2023 PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition and swap directly over the factory covers. An integrated LED light ring adheres to the cooling fan frame for illumination. The kit includes a dust filter for the fan intake. The product is new and finished in black.

Cooling vents and dust filter under continuous use

Ventilation slots in the panels promote airflow around the console during extended gaming sessions. The custom dust filter blocks particles and hair from reaching the fan, helping maintain consistent cooling performance over time. Both features work passively without requiring extra power or software control.

Direct replacement installation

The faceplates align with the original mounting points so no tools are needed for the panel swap. The LED strip uses a peel-and-stick backing that must be positioned carefully on the fan frame to avoid misalignment. Users should clean the mounting surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive to prevent the light ring from loosening with heat cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the RGB light ring on this faceplate add noticeable heat or fan noise during long gaming sessions?

The light ring attaches to the existing cooling fan frame and draws minimal power, so it does not increase fan speed or temperature.

What must I already own to install these replacement panels and the LED strip?

You need a 2023 PS5 Slim Digital Edition console; the panels replace the original covers directly and the LED ring adheres to the fan frame.

Will the cooling vents on these faceplates line up with the heatsink fins on my launch-model PS5?

The vents are shaped for the PS5 Slim Digital Edition airflow path and will not align with the larger launch-model chassis.
