Compact backlit keyboard for living-room control

The Werleo H18+ is a pocket-sized wireless keyboard with an integrated 5.5-inch touchpad designed for sofa use. It targets viewers who want a single handheld device for text entry, cursor control and media navigation on a TV, HTPC or game console. The built-in 300 mAh lithium-ion cell recharges and lasts weeks on standby.

2.4 GHz wireless link limited to ten metres

The nano USB dongle uses GFSK transmission in the 2400-2483 MHz band and requires a host with a USB 2.0 or higher port. Range tops out at 10 metres, so the receiver must stay within sight of the seating position. The link auto-sleeps after three minutes of inactivity or ten seconds of signal loss to preserve battery life.

HID-only compatibility — no driver installation

The keyboard presents itself as a standard HID device, so it works with Windows XP through 10, Linux and Android systems that expose a regular USB host port. Devices without USB host support or those requiring proprietary pairing will not recognise the dongle.
