Product identity and intended user

The Werleo HOTT is a portable CD player designed for listeners who want to play physical discs on the move. It supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 discs and CD WMA audio files. A 3.5mm AUX connection lets you link the unit to any device with a compatible audio input. The package includes stereo earphones and a USB charging cable.

Disc format and anti-skip protection

The player reads standard CDs, recordable and rewritable discs plus MP3 and WMA formats. Electronic skip protection provides 45 seconds of anti-skip buffer for CDs and 120 seconds for MP3 CDs. The manufacturer notes that violent shock may still affect operation and does not recommend use while walking or running.

Power options and sustained playback

The unit runs on two AA batteries, which are not included, or via the supplied USB charging cable connected to an external power adapter. This dual-source design lets you maintain playback during extended sessions without relying solely on battery capacity. A keylock function prevents accidental button presses during transport.
