Who this suits and who it does not

It suits owners of those three iPad generations who want rugged drop protection and a built-in kickstand for typing or viewing. It also includes a dual-ended stylus with a touch tip on one side and a ballpoint pen on the other. Buyers who need a built-in screen protector should look elsewhere because this case does not have one. Buyers with any other iPad model cannot use it.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the exact iPad model number printed on the back of the device. Only the listed model numbers from the 7th, 8th and 9th generation 10.2 inch iPads are compatible.

Questions about this item

Will the kickstand on this 10.2 inch case work with my 2019 iPad 7th generation?

Yes, the built-in kickstand with typing and viewing angles fits the 2019 7th generation, 2020 8th generation and 2021 9th generation models listed as A2197, A2198, A2200, A2270, A2428, A2429, A2430, A2602, A2603, A2604 and A2605.

How can I confirm the rubber flap on the charging port is sealing properly after I put the case on?

Press the flap closed; it should sit flush with the case edge and cover the Lightning port completely while still allowing the cable to be inserted when lifted.

Does the box include a screen protector or do I need to buy one separately?

The case does not have a built-in screen protector; a separate protector must be purchased. The package includes the rugged case and a 2-in-1 stylus with touch tip and ballpoint pen.
