Designed for iPad 9.7 inch 2017 2018

This protective case fits the 9.7 inch iPad models released in 2017 and 2018, matching model numbers A1822, A1823, A1893 and A1954. A three-layer hybrid construction combines a hard polycarbonate inner shell with a soft silicone outer cushion for shockproof defence. Precise cutouts keep every port, button and camera fully accessible while the tablet is secured inside.

Built-in kickstand and dual straps

A 360 degree rotatable kickstand supports multiple viewing angles for video calls or media playback. An adjustable hand strap provides a secure grip during active use, while a detachable shoulder strap enables hands-free carrying or hanging on a car headrest. Users who need a built-in screen protector or a dedicated Apple Pencil charging slot should look at alternative designs.

No Apple Pencil charging with case on

The enclosure prevents the Apple Pencil from docking into the iPad for charging, so the stylus must be removed before it can power up. This constraint applies to every compatible 5th and 6th generation 9.7 inch model. Buyers who rely on magnetic charging while the tablet remains protected will need a different case style.
