Designed for 9.7-inch 2017 and 2018 iPad

This hybrid sleeve fits only the 9.7-inch iPad models released in 2017 and 2018, matching model numbers 1822, 1823, 1893 and 1954. A detachable magnetic cover triggers auto sleep and wake functions when opened or closed. The back panel is cut out so the iPad logo remains visible.

Replaces basic folios that lack drop protection

The hard polycarbonate inner shell and soft TPU outer layer absorb impacts from accidental drops. A lint lining guards the display against scratches and dust without a built-in screen protector. Buyers who need a case for other iPad sizes or generations cannot use this model.

Holds shape and function during daily carry

The magnetic cover detaches for flexible viewing angles while working or watching video. All ports and buttons stay accessible without removing the iPad from the case. Materials resist wear from repeated attachment and detachment of the cover.

Questions about this item

Which iPad models does the 9.7 inch case fit?

It fits the 2017 models A1822 and A1823 and the 2018 models A1893 and A1954.

How does the magnetic cover attach and what step is often missed?

The cover snaps on magnetically; the common mistake is not aligning it so the sleep/wake sensor lines up with the iPad edge.

What part of the case wears out first and how is it replaced?

The TPU outer shell and lint lining take the most abuse; the magnetic cover detaches so you can swap just that piece.
