Accurate Compatibility

This rugged protective cover fits Apple iPad 9.7 inch 2017 and 2018 models A1893, A1954, A1822 and A1823. A built-in pencil holder keeps a stylus secure, though the Apple Pencil itself is not included. The three-layer construction of hard plastic and soft silicone absorbs drops and impacts while precise cutouts preserve access to every button, port, camera and speaker. No screen protector is fitted so the original touch feel is unchanged.

Kickstand and Straps

A 360 degree rotatable kickstand lets you set multiple viewing angles for typing, video calls or media playback. The stretchable hand grip adds comfort during extended handheld use. Adjustable, removable shoulder straps attach to any two mounting holes so the tablet can be carried vertically or horizontally like a messenger bag. These accessories turn the case into a versatile carry solution for travel, work or classroom use.

Check Your Model

Verify the model number on the back of your iPad matches A1893, A1954, A1822 or A1823 before ordering. The case is designed exclusively for the 9.7 inch 2017 and 2018 generations and will not fit other iPad sizes or years. Buyers needing a built-in screen protector or compatibility with newer iPad models should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the built-in Pencil holder cover the Apple Pencil tip so it needs replacing less often?

The holder secures the Apple Pencil but does not enclose the tip; the tip wears at the same rate as without the case.

Which part of the three-layer shell shows wear first when the iPad is dropped repeatedly?

The outer hard plastic layer absorbs the initial impact and will scuff or crack before the inner silicone.

Does the 360-degree kickstand mechanism loosen or squeak after daily angle changes?

The kickstand rotates on a plastic hinge; with frequent adjustment it can develop play but does not generate audible noise.
