Compatibility & Models

This keyboard case is built specifically for iPad Mini 1, 2 and 3. It fits model numbers A1432, A1454, A1455, A1489, A1490, A1491, A1599 and A1600. The ultra-slim hard shell snaps onto the tablet and turns it into a compact laptop-style device. Buyers with any other iPad model cannot use this case.

Build & Daily Use

A wireless Bluetooth keyboard attaches to the folio and pairs without a password. The folding flip stand provides two viewing angles for hands-free work or media. Opening the smart cover wakes the iPad instantly; closing it puts the tablet to sleep. All ports and buttons remain accessible without removing the shell.

Upgrade Context

The case replaces a separate keyboard and stand with a single protective folio. It suits users who want laptop-like typing on a Mini without carrying extra accessories. The jump is worthwhile when portability and an integrated stand matter more than a full-size key layout.

Questions about this item

How does the Bluetooth keyboard connect without a password?

The wireless keyboard pairs automatically via Bluetooth without requiring a passcode entry, then any key press wakes it from sleep for immediate typing.

What keeps the case secured on an iPad Mini 1, 2 or 3?

The ultra-slim hard shell is moulded for models A1432, A1454, A1455, A1489, A1490, A1491, A1599 and A1600, so it snaps on and stays in place without extra clips.

How do I set the folio stand for typing versus viewing?

Fold the cover back into the built-in groove to lock either of the two fixed angles; a common mistake is leaving the flap flat instead of clicking it into the notch.
