7" Kindle Paperwhite 12th Gen & Colorsoft Case

This blue protective cover fits the 7 inch Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation 2024 Release and the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 1st Generation 2024 Release. It is designed for readers who want a slim synthetic leather sleeve that supports the device's magnetic wireless charging and auto wake sleep function. The precise cut outs keep every port and button accessible without removing the case. Buyers with the 6 inch 11th Generation Kindle or the 6.8 inch 2021 Paperwhite should choose a different model.

Installation and common issues

The case slides on in seconds and the magnetic lid handles wake sleep automatically so there is no setup required. A frequent mistake is ordering this cover for the 6 inch 11th Generation Kindle (model RS23CV or C2V2L3) or the 2021 6.8 inch Paperwhite (model M2L3EK or M2L4EK) which are explicitly listed as not fit. Wireless charging only works on Kindle models that already include that feature so the cover cannot add it to unsupported devices.

Capacity and headroom

The sleeve accommodates exactly the two 7 inch 2024 Kindle models mentioned above and provides full access to controls while closed. It does not stretch to fit earlier 6 inch or 6.8 inch generations and it offers no extra pockets or storage for accessories. If you need a case for an older Paperwhite or the basic 6 inch Kindle this product will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the auto wake and sleep feature is active after I close and open the cover?

Open the lid and the screen should light up instantly; close it and the display should turn off immediately — that is the magnetic sensor working as designed.

What comes inside the package and is anything else required to use the magnetic wireless charging?

The box contains only the blue synthetic leather cover with soft interior lining; a wireless charging capable Kindle and a compatible charger are needed separately for the charging function.

Which Kindle models does this blue case fit and which specific models are excluded?

It fits the 7 inch Paperwhite 12th generation 2024 release and Colorsoft Signature Edition 2024 release, models SA569B and SA569P; it does not fit the 6 inch 11th generation 2022 or 2024 models RS23CV or C2V2L3, nor the 6.8 inch 11th generation 2021 models M2L3EK or M2L4EK.
